Dawn Staley named BCA coach of the year
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley is the Black Coaches and Administrators' female coach of the year.
The organization announced the honor Tuesday.
Staley led the Gamecocks to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2003. They advanced to the round of 16 before falling to Stanford.
