Cory Jane signs with New Zealand to 2014
WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) Winger Cory Jane has signed a new contract with the New Zealand Rugby Union which ensures he will play with the All Blacks until 2014.
Jane, who has played 32 tests since 2008, was a starting member of the All Blacks team that beat France 8-7 in last year's World Cup final.
The 29-year-old said he was pleased he'll be staying in New Zealand to play for the All Blacks and Wellington Hurricanes for the next two years.
New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Steve Tew said "Cory is a multitalented, skilled rugby player and one of the real characters of New Zealand rugby, and it's fantastic that that he has renewed his contract with New Zealand rugby."
