(TSX / STATS) -- Leonys Martin and the Detroit Tigers have agreed on a major league contract for the 2018 season, the team announced Tuesday.

In addition to signing the outfielder, Detroit also came to terms with right-handed pitcher Enrique Burgos, catcher Derek Norris, first baseman Edwin Espinal and outfielder Jim Adduci on minor league deals.

Terms of the contracts were not announced by the Tigers, but USA Today reported Martin will make $1.75 million and could pocket up to $1.1 million in incentives.

Burgos, Norris, Espinal and Adduci each received spring training invites.

Martin, 29, is entering his eighth big-league season after spending the 2017 campaign split between the Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs.

Over 49 games last season, Martin hit .172 with three home runs and nine RBIs. He is a lifetime .247 hitter with 38 long balls, 176 RBIs and 115 steals in 621 games between the Texas Rangers, Mariners and Cubs.

Martin made his major league debut in 2011 with the Rangers and spent his first five seasons with Texas.
