Aug. 18 2:47 PM PT3:47 PM MT4:47 PM CT5:47 PM ET10:47 PM GMT6:47 AM 北京时间-Edwards' inconsistency has been a sore spot for Browns fans since his arrival as the No. 3 overall pick in 2005. They expect more from Cleveland's top playmaker and his inability to string together catches and solid performances has prompted a backlash of sorts. It wasn't long after his opening-night drop at Lambeau Field that the Web and local sports radio talk shows were overrun with negative comments about Edwards. Analysis: The loquacious wideout understands the fans' frustrations. He feels the same way. "That drives anybody crazy," he said. "Nobody's perfect. At the end of the day you strive to be. What drives you is what drives me, to be the best at what I do. When I drop a pass, I'm (ticked) at myself. I wish I could catch everything no matter where it was or what I have to do to get to it. That's just not reality." |

At the time, Edwards and coach Eric Mangini said it wasn't serious, and Mangini added that Edwards was expected to participate fully in the team's training camp, which begins Saturday. |
May 21 11:26 AM PT12:26 PM MT1:26 PM CT2:26 PM ET7:26 PM GMT3:26 AM 北京时间-Edwards wants to atone for his disappointing 2008 season, just not in New York.
